Various surveys and reports indicate that more than half the total female population has no access or understanding of financial services delivered by regulated financial institutions. Although government and non government institutions have made efforts in the past and still doing so to include women in financial transactions, it’s more of a mindset that prevents women from making their own wealth based decisions. This campaign aims at educating women and exhorting them to independently carry out their financial transactions and make informed decisions. Date with Digits is an awareness campaign to inspire women and march them towards financial literacy.
The practice of showing less interest towards financial transactions be it banking, investment or real estate, among women from all strata is quite common. Hence, this campaign will try to address this notion.
This campaign will try to break the illusionary barrier for women, and make them informed and educated about economic and financial transactions.
